We had so much fun having Christmas in our new home! Steve woke me up at 7 on Christmas morning (explains how lovely I look in the below pictures) to open gifts. Steve spoiled me with really thoughtful gifts, one of my favorites being the cute Tony Romo Cowboy's jersey.

Steve was a very good boy this year, so I got him the Wii. He loves it.

My cutie pie nephew Caleb, got his first basketball jersey and shorts from us. He is toooo cuuute.

My mom always makes Christmas so magical. The table for breakfast is gorgeous! (And the food was to die for)

So on Christmas after breakfast and gifts we took a much needed Christmas nap! Later we saw "Princess and the Frog", which was actually really good. (I usually don't like animated movies so much anymore, just the good ol classics) We had a great time! Sarah is almost due any day now with my first niece, I am soo excited, she should be born within the next couple of days.

I am so grateful for all my family (I have two now!) It was such a wonderful Christmas season. I love this time of year to celebrate the birth of our Savior. The gospel is SUCH a precious gift in life, I'd literally be lost without it.

So..
I got called to jury duty.
Most people I know that get called are always soo disappointed and immediately start thinking of ways to get out of it.

Yeah, NOT ME! I have secretly ALWAYS wanted to be on a jury, and although my chances are small, (Only 12 people out of a LOT) I will not try and get out of it! I have always watched Judge Judy growing up, and lots of court shows like Law and Order.

Sure, I'm missing out on pay and will have tons to catch up at work when I get back, but at least I can learn a lot and do my part in the community!

(Okay, I don't really care about that) I just want to help catch bad guys and sit in a courtroom, really.

We'll see how it goes. My coworker Michelle got to be a part of the 12 jurors not too long ago on a realllly interesting case.

One should only be soo lucky.

RIP Brittany Murphy

So I just found out Brittany Murphy just died of natural causes at age 32! I was so sad, I cried.(Course that doesn't say much, I cry about EVERYTHING) I have watched her in a lot of movies growing up, my favorite would be Just Married, which ironically I just watched 2 days ago! Well, my heart goes out to her family right now. She was so beautiful.

I love you. I love making you the second I get in to work. (We have a big costco size hot chocolate box!) I love how you warm me up the first few hours of every day. I love putting candycane kisses in you to make you have a pepperminty taste. I love how you make me feel so festive.
